Through the years, Owlient has built a real knowledge in the conception of Web games.The games are built in such a manner that no players play alone : they have to interact with other people due to the items they manipulate. This way they are bound to meet new people.
This is how the community forms. Owlient directs all of it's attention to the animation of the community : The community managers work towards a nice atmosphere on the games, do the link between the players and the internal teams, organise meetings between players across the globe, and so on.
Having as goal to ensure the perpetuation of the community and the game, the Owlient knowledge consists in monetising its audience. For that reason, starting in 2005 Owlient has used the “virtual goods” economic model. Loyal to its values of respect of the community, Owlient lets its clients decide when, for how much and at what frequency they wish to purchase goods.
Technologies
To maintain the growth of its audience and add new products to its catalogue, Owlient has built its own Web game platform to aim for a constant gain in productivity.


This platform is supported by a modern Web development framework created internally since 2004. To that is added a complete information system (user management, community spaces, payment systems, and so forth.) that speeds up the development process of a new game. Owlient also disposes of a monitoring platform for all of its network (performances, statistics, …). Finally, Owlient disposes of APIs allowing partners to be supported by its platform, like payment gateways.
The abilities of Owlient also resides in precise knowledge of the latest technologies allowing the management of an audience charge increase from a Web site. With sometimes more than 40M pages viewed per day, Owlient makes sure that the best gaming experience possible is provided to its players.
Partnerships
Due to its large (2M active users) and targeted audience (90% of women between 12 and 25 years old.), Owlient has built numerous partnerships in the past 5 years.
Owlient even participates to charity. With a partnership with Gut-aiderbichl in Austria, the Equideow community has contributed in saving a few horses and donkeys. The Babydow community has the opportunity to contribute in the effort of the Foundation for UNESCO – Education for Children in Need.
